Thank you, TLC! |
Then I got pregnant with Yoav and started craving bacon.
Some Jewish sages believe a pregnant woman shouldn't deny herself of any craving, so I went with it.
Nearly two and a half years later, I'm going back to keeping kosher outside of the house (we already keep kosher in the house). I'm doing this for my health and my faith.
Since dropping off the kosher bandwagon, I notice that I eat a lot of crap. I do. I eat healthy foods, too, but I eat food that isn't good for me because I started eating meat outside the house.
This is all part of my plan for 2014. I want to be a better person because, lately, I feel like a shell of myself and I feel like I'm a negative person...which I don't like being.
So, this year, I'm not making resolutions, I'm making a bucket list of things to do every day in 2014. Here's my list:
- Keep kosher
- Be more physically active
- Use electronic stuff less
- Enjoy my kids more
- Find new ways to connect with the hubby
- Be a better person by leading by example
- Keep my mouth shut and learn open my ears more
- Stop apologizing for being me (this is a big one for me)
- Become more active in the community
Those are the things I want to do every day. What do you want to do in 2014?

Love it. And if you have an 'off' day, just try again the next. Proud of you!
