Pinterest is a site where you can make up boards (think cork boards) and pin stuff to it that you like (again, like cork boards). It's a little like the boards I had in middle school and high school except that instead of pinning pictures of JTT and Justin Timberlake, I'm pinning stuff like this:
Yeeeaaaah, I'm a nerd.
I'm far more interested in pinning stuff that looks like this...
... than dealing with real life.
This weekend marks the end of the Jewish holidays which means it'll be my last few free days off of work. During the majority of the holidays, I've had 4-day weekends where I try to make stuff that I tried on Pinterest. Some of it worked. Some of it....well, not so much. This is why Pinterest is BAD for me. I'm a foodie in the sense that I like to eat food. I'm creative in the sense that I like to create new things in my head that rarely turn out well when a sewing machine gets involved. I'm not nearly as awesome at baking or cooking as 90% of the people on Pinterest and I'm not nearly as thin as most of them either (being 6 months pregnant will do that to you. I can't make candy canes from scratch. I can't refashion my clothing into maternity clothes. AND I can't take pictures nearly as well as these people... but I can try. And trying is what will make me gain weight, ruin some tshirts, and possibly kill Craig's camera in the process.
This is why Pinterest is bad for me.
So, with this being my last free 4-day weekend for a while, what will I be doing? Probably playing on Pinterest... I know it's bad for me but I just can't quit it!
Are you on Pinterest? Do you feel my pain?

I am pretty sure Pinterest would be very bad for me. I'm just not ready to venture over there...I may never leave. I LOVE the pic of the t-rex. Hilarious!
It is pretty addicting. However, I know i can't create the things I love, so I don't even try. But sometimes I use the pictures in a blog post.
I have a t-shirt of the "T-Rex hates push-ups", so I guess I'm a nerd too! When it comes to funny dinos, you can't lose! New follower, found you through the hop!
