What's It Like... having Hamas as your neighbor

There is something I need you to see. About a week ago, I wrote a post about what it's like to live in Israel - from my perspective. It was an honest view of how I live my life here in the holy land.

I need you, as my reader, to watch this video. It speaks the truth about what's going on in my country and how it's being portrayed on college campuses. When your kids go to college, they'll likely come in contact with lies. I need you to watch the entire video. We fight fiction with facts. We fight ignorance with truth.

I'll be honest, it's hard to ration with people who call Israel a genocidal state. As a grand-daughter of 4 HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS I am sickened that college students across the U.S. repeat such hatred.

I need you to watch the entire video... please:

Feel free to ask us questions about what's like to live with these guys as our neighbors.
Feel free to ask us questions about anything.
Please do not send hate mail - it'll just wind up on our blog for the world to see how anti-Semitic you are.

I'm Israeli. I'm a Jew. I'm proud to be both. I know what I'm up against, do you?

Found you via a tweet by GucciMama! Amazing post! My husband and I both listen to Horowitz frequently and appreciate his work. I wish more people knew the truth. Kudos to you for putting it out there!

Thank you SO much for finding me! Sometimes I get really annoyed with all the slander and hatred out there. The only way for me to combat it is to talk about it. My parents taught me not to hate others... and not to wish harm on them but there are people who live 3 hours from me who want people like me to die. It's a scary thought.

Keep in touch!

Ok I'm going to take the risk and be brutally honest...well because that's who I am, a brutally honest person.
Now I want to start off saying I hold hatred towards nobody.
I have opinions towards people/groups. I'm the first to admit though my opinions are based on ignorance and lack of knowledge.
I'm so glad I have found your blog, so I can learn truth and reality. So that my opinion will be based on knowledge and first hand knowledge at that.
I think I have more of a "society" opinion than my own. Because I don't know. Has nothing to do with religion though....but it's more about what I have been told about the country from the media.
Anyway I hope all that makes sense and thanks for taking the time to educate and inform people like me.

I'm really glad you found me! Unfortunately, people take the news as the truth instead of facts as the truth. Israel loses the media war because we're a country built on decency. Recently, a family of 5 Israelis were murdered in their home while they slept (including a 4 month old who was beheaded). The uproar in the country that ensued was amazing but when the surviving family members released photographs of the murders (with blurred faces of course), the entire country was pissed because we, as Jews, don't like to show horrors that way.

When I saw the pictures, I vomited. They were horrific but in Gaza, only 3 hours from me, they were celebrating the deaths of 5 Jews by passing out sweets in the streets. Does that seem normal to you? I don't think so and I don't think they really want "peace" either.

Like I said, thank you for finding our blog. We try hard to dis spell the myths about Israel. I take the words "Never Again" very seriously.
